Christina White is a dedicated NYC public school administrator with over 17 years of service and experience, including school counsellor and assistant principal roles. She has participated in the Manhattan High School District Assistant Principal Advisory Group and the NYC Department of Education's Learning Partners Program as a model assistant principal.
She is currently the proud principal of Manhattan Village Academy, an NYC public high school. Under Christina's leadership, Manhattan Village Academy was named a Respect for All school, which recognizes school environments that promote respect for diversity. She's also now part of the Manhattan High School Equity Focus Group in an advisory capacity.
Christina is committed to creating anti-racist, culturally responsive school cultures and environments where Black and Brown children can thrive. She is passionate about amplifying student voices, ensuring joy in learning, and building trust-filled communities.
