The Reading League is a national non-profit organization that provides several resources for educators, educational leaders, educator preparation programs, and educational decisionmakers (e.g., policymakers, state education agencies). These include the Defining Guide, Curriculum Evaluation Guidelines, and The Reading League Compass www.thereadingleague.org/compass to provide direction for a variety of stakeholders. TRL also has state chapters who do exceptional work within the context of their states, school-based partnerships, virtual and in-person coaching, educator preparation program syllabi refinement consultants, Reading Buddies (a free television program on YouTube and select PBS stations that supports early literacy), and other services to support our mission to increase the awareness, understanding, and use of evidence-aligned reading instruction.
